Born and raised in France, and a recent NY->LA transplant, Julien is a self-taught photographer fascinated by the subcultures of America and the people who create from within them. At the heart of each culture and each story is an individual, and Julien has a powerful ability to document those personalities in striking snapshots.

Julien is deeply happy to surf quality waves every day without the hood, gloves and boots and the ice-cream headaches that come with it. He doesn’t miss the A train.
